The conference will be held at the historic La
Fonda on the Plaza Hotel, located
at 100

have been reserved for the Dicty 2006 Conference at a negotiated rate
of $179 a night. Hotel

Travel
The nearest major international airport to Santa
Fe, New Mexico is
the Albuquerque
International Sunport (airport code ABQ), located
approximately an hour's drive south of Santa Fe. While renting a car
is a convenient way of getting around New Mexico, airport shuttles are
readily available between La Fonda and the airport. The Santa
Fe Shuttle (888-833-2300, email) offers
eight trips daily at $23 one way, and $40 round trip. Advanced reservations
are required, and you can book online.
Registration
Online registration is now closed. Check payments
should be remitted by August 15, 2006. The
registration fee is $760; spouses and other guests who are accompanying
conferences attendees may also registered for $725 to cover meals. Note
that if conference payment is not received by the deadline, reserved
rooms will be released by the hotel.
Excursion
We are planning an optional afternoon excursion ($50 for each person)
to the Bandelier
National Monument. Hundreds of ruins of Anasazi Indian cliff houses
and pueblo-style dwellings lay scattered across the Pajarito Plateau
of northern New Mexico. Within Bandelier National Monument's 32,000
acres, 70 miles of trails provide access to these ancient ruins, including
the cliff dwellings and Tyuonyi village of Frijoles Canyon. Lunch
is included; attendee spouses and guests are welcome.
